Abstract
This artwork is related to the body, featuring photographic portraits of young individuals exploring sensuality and the connection between the human body and the natural environment. The models, Mauricio and Andy, are captured in the jungle, adding a physical and organic dimension to the artwork. Their poses and bodily expressions also emphasize sensuality and their relationship with their bodies. Furthermore, placing the young individuals in a dreamlike and almost surreal jungle setting adds a layer to exploring the relationship between the body and the surrounding environment. The lush and magical nature of the jungle becomes part of the visual narrative, creating a dialogue between the models’ bodies and the landscape around them. Ultimately, the artwork reflects on the connection between human corporeality and the natural world in an Amazonian context, exploring themes of sensuality, youth, and daydreaming.
This artwork consists of a series of photographic portraits that capture two young individuals, Mauricio and Andy, in the lush Peruvian jungle. These portraits skillfully highlight the sensuality of the youth while placing them in a dreamlike and almost surreal environment, the jungle. The lush and magical nature of the jungle serves as a backdrop for these portraits, creating an intriguing contrast between the beauty of the models and the natural surroundings that envelop them. The artwork evokes a sense of reverie and wonder, inviting the viewer to explore the connection between youth, nature, and fantasy in an Amazonian context.
