Abstract
This piece relates to the body through its direct reference to illness. This piece engages the body and contemporary global anxieties by personifying the coronavirus as a monstrous figure. With sharp lines and ominous purple hues, the artist gives form to an invisible enemy, turning a microscopic threat into a tangible, mythic creature. The work reflects on fear, illness, and control during the pandemic, offering a visual narrative that mixes folk imagination with collective trauma.
