Abstract
This work is related to the territory because it depicts the coexistence of the Shipibo Indigenous culture in the urban environment of Lima. Through this painting, one can appreciate how the traditions and cultural heritage of the Shipibo community remain relevant and adapt to the urban context, highlighting the influence of the territory on the lives and identity of these people.
This painting portrays a striking contrast in Lima, where Shipibo people sell their colorful crafts amidst institutional buildings and a bustling avenue. The warm tones highlight the Indigenous creations, which shine in the urban landscape. This artwork reflects cultural richness in a modern context, emphasizing the significance of Indigenous heritage.
