Abstract
This work is related to the body because, through the representation of the couple in the embroidered portrait, the presence of human bodies in the context of the aerial port of the Peruvian Amazon is emphasized. The two individuals’ bodies are the artwork’s central focus and convey a sense of connection, emotion, and closeness between them. Furthermore, the choice to use embroidery, a manual and artisanal process that involves direct manipulation of the fabric with the hands, underscores the relationship between the human body and artistic creation. The act of embroidery becomes a tactile and sensitive expression that adds a bodily dimension to the artwork.
