Abstract
This artwork is related to the territory and cultural heritage because it captures essential aspects of Loreto’s natural landscape, emphasizing the importance of the rivers and the lush Amazon rainforest in the region. These elements represent the territory and the natural richness of the area. Furthermore, by highlighting the significance of the rivers as essential transportation routes and sources of livelihood for local communities, the artwork also underscores the cultural heritage of these communities, which have maintained a close relationship with these bodies of water for generations.
In these images, one can appreciate a vast body of water in Loreto, where the sky is reflected like a celestial mirror. The Amazon River, the largest in the world, unquestionably takes center stage in the photograph. Loreto’s rivers are impressive in size and play a fundamental role in the daily lives of local communities. They are essential transportation arteries, fishing grounds, and sources of sustenance for many people. The photograph captures the immensity and beauty of these bodies of water, which form the heart of Loreto’s landscape. In the other image, an impressive portrait of a majestic tree stands alongside a body of water in the Amazon rainforest of Loreto, Peru.
