Abstract
The Entire World Is Watching is a web series that answers to the lack of attention given to women who live with HIV. Protagonized by activists and artists from New York, the testimonies center on queer voices and women of color. The first episode, All Women Are Welcome, presents Lina Meruane (writer), Katherine Cheairs (filmmaker) and Wanda Hernández-Parks (activist) while they talk about their work with women living with HIV. The video begins with a discussion about the “Syndrome of Female Disappearance” or the lack of representation of women in the narratives on HIV/AIDS.
