Abstract
The autobiographically inspired work Seropositive – Not Positive tells the photographic story of a couple after learning of their HIV diagnosis. The medium highlights the fragility in which both bodies exist; its translucency alludes to the invisibility of seropositive couples, and its lightness contrasts with the weight of its content. The images leave unclear whether they depict an embrace, an intimate moment, or a confrontation.
