Abstract
In her project Angustias, Madorilyn reflects on internal conflicts and explores the complexities of living as a trans woman. The works in the Angustia series address various emotions related to the anguish of being, living, and being reborn. With skillful use of a wide range of materials and inspired by both popular culture and drag, Madorilyn creates a universe of characters that come to life through her performances.
