Abstract
“Sinsiña” is a site-specific installation composed of small sculptures arranged across the gallery floor, evoking a symbolic cartography of Chile. Through the interplay of figures, textures, and organic materials, the installation activates questions of memory, ancestry, and belonging. Set beneath the image of a powerful feminine water spirit, the work connects land and body, myth and territory. “Sinsiña” reimagines national space not as fixed geography but as a living terrain shaped by community, storytelling, and resistance, inviting viewers to walk through a landscape where cultural heritage and the natural world are deeply entangled.
