Abstract
At the center of this performative reading, the body emerges as a site of deviation and transformation. Federiza Baeza and Valentina Quintero stage the “beyond” evoked by the prefix trans through a dialogue with emblematic works from the Federico Klemm Foundation. Between reading, confession, and the unfolding of images, bodies appear that, like rivers shifting their course, disrupt linearity and make fertile other spaces of existence. The piece weaves textual performance with visual references, articulating trans not as a fixed identity but as a movement that embodies crossing that unsettles normative categories and gestures toward alternative ways of being.
Federiza Baeza and Valentina Quintero read a text that seeks to stage that “beyond” evoked by the prefix trans. They do so through a series of emblematic works from the Federico Klemm Foundation. Between reading, confession, and the parade of images, bodies emerge that deviate like the course of a river, making fertile a space different from the one we inhabit.
